After the disaster of 1926, the new village was gradually built on the other side of the Vésubie river, and the first sod was turned on the Immaculate Heart of Mary church in 1949. This church is the seat of the Vésubie parish. The parish covers seven communes: Venanson, Saint Martin Vésubie, Belvédère, Roquebillière, La Bollène-Vésubie, Lantosque and Utelle, and fifteen villages corresponding to the former parishes of the first decades of the 20th century.
