Description
Émile, who is passionate about drawing and goats, is exhibiting his artwork created for the Bêle Colline association. Come see his sketchbooks and drawings at the Lion d'Or gallery in Hyères through Sunday, October 25. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the association!
Emile is passionate about drawing and goats. He watches his beloved horned goats as they graze, naturally clearing the brush from the hills around Hyères. In fact, “Bêle Colline” is the name of this organization that practices eco-grazing.
One day, while they (the goats) were feasting on lush foliage, Emile began sketching them in his sketchbook. He uses different techniques because the herd moves around, and sometimes he has to set aside watercolors to work quickly with pencil or charcoal—even if it means finishing the piece in the evening.
In any case, Emile has filled four sketchbooks over the past five years to express his art. And this art is on display on the walls of the Lion d’Or gallery, in the historic heart of Hyères, through Sunday.
There are both affordable pieces and magnificent large-scale works.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Bêle-Colline association. We’re truly smitten with this local artist, who’s brimming with talent.
Through Sunday, October 25, inclusive.
