As every year, the Environment Department is organising a series of conferences on environmental topics.

These free talks on the environment are given by specialists from the Var and take place at 6pm in the Salle Cassin in La Londe les Maures - Thursday 12 February: La communication entre les plantes (Communication between plants) by Jean-Rémi Malachin - Thursday 9 April: Le rôle précieux et insoupçonné du compostage face au réchauffement climatique (The valuable and unsuspected role of composting in the face of global warming) by Carolyn Legg - Thursday 4 June: Let's live like a turtle: Mediterranean sea turtles by Lucas Stofa - Thursday 10 September: Invasive alien species by Emmanuelle Chevalier - Thursday 5 November: Lavender from here and elsewhere by Denis Huin Free parking near the Salle Cassin.
