Rooted in an original technique derived from photography, the artist's practice blurs the boundaries between disciplines. Photography, painting, drawing… Anthony Plasse moves effortlessly from one medium to another, revealing a singularly abstract gesture. With light as his medium, he combines rigorous technical mastery with a deliberate openness to chance and improvisation. Offering an endless range of monochromatic tonalities—from the raw ecru of burlap to the dense black achieved through photographic development—the exhibition invites a compelling reflection on the possibilities of a minimal visual language, and on the encounter between works and the spaces that receive them.
