Description
Exhibition of the paintings by Guillaume Strohl
Born in Versailles in 1983, Guillaume Strohl is a contemporary French artist. He graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts before pursuing further training as a draftsman and illustrator, as well as an apprenticeship in decorative painting in Nantes.
Known for the power of his portraits and his ability to take on ambitious artistic challenges, Guillaume Strohl explores an aesthetic where hyperrealism meets emotion. His works, centered on the female figure, reveal a beauty that is both fragile and timeless, captured with striking precision. Blending tradition and modernity, he has developed a unique technique, working with makeup pencil and brush, thus asserting a strong and singular artistic identity.
At the heart of his work lies a more intimate exploration: that of a passage, a transformation. Inspired by the theme of baptism, his collection centered on women and water evokes a symbolic journey, from the depths to the light. His artistic approach, constantly evolving, leads him to perfect his art between different international stages, from Los Angeles to Milan, affirming a free and deeply embodied vision.
