The Arts Season continues at the Château de la Cheylane for this first edition with an exhibition entitled “Méditerranée Marseillaise – Âme du Sud” by the artists Loic Potignon, Juliet Airs and Jean-Claude Mille.

The Château de La Cheylane is opening its doors for the first edition of a contemporary art exhibition showcasing eight artists. This artistic season is organised by *Les Cahiers de Provence Méditerranée*. For this exhibition, ‘Méditerranée Marseillaise – Âme du Sud’, three artists have come together to explore the theme of the Mediterranean. Loïc Potignon, a painter and sculptor who has always been fascinated by Yves Klein, presents expressive and vibrant works. He celebrates everyday life, and Provence in particular, through his paintings, drawing on his raw energy and the use of wood as a medium, as well as natural pigments such as sand and beeswax… Juliet Airs, whose real name is Juliet Airaudi, places great emphasis on the human figure – particularly the female form – in her photographic works. The common thread running through her work is the Mediterranean, featuring various destinations such as Morocco, Corsica and Sardinia to illustrate the beauty of the Mediterranean region. Jean-Claude Mille, a watercolourist, presents landscapes and still lifes focused exclusively on the Mediterranean. His work, inspired by the rocks, rocky coves and pine forests of the Mediterranean coastline, showcases a luminous style of painting. Cooky Maya Casta is the guest of honour at this exhibition, which will complement the artists featured in the forthcoming contemporary art exhibition at the Château de la Cheylane.
