Description

By Séverine Bidaud. Grand Jury Prize—Scènes d’Automne Festival 2025. Reminiscent of the fairy tale *Hansel and Gretel*, this performance blends dance, spoken word, and video.
It all begins in the deep forest. She is Fara, a little girl with weak legs, brilliantly portrayed by Sandra Geco, who moves with the flexibility of rubber. He is Koto, a young boy who cannot speak, portrayed by Giovanni Léocadie, a breakdancer whose movements are full of fluidity. Hip-hop dance lies at the heart of choreographer Séverine Bidaud’s work; in this tale, she expresses disability as a true form of body language. An inspiring and optimistic story for everyone about difference and our relationships with others. “Two dancers of great technical skill” – Télérama Choreography: Séverine Bidaud. Featuring: Sandra Geco and Giovanni Léocadie. Text and dramaturgical consultation: Marion Aubert. Choreography assistant: Joëlle Iffrig. Writing and research assistant: Jane-Carole Bidaud. Lighting design, set design, stage management: Esteban Loirat. Video design: Pascal Minet. Music: Natyve. Costumes: Alice Touvet. Production: Compagnie 6e Dimension. Supported by: DRAC Normandy, Normandy Region, Seine-Maritime Department, and the ODIA (Office for Artistic Promotion and Information) of Normandy.
