Description

The Feast of Saint Peter honors Saint Peter, the patron saint of fishermen, a figure deeply connected to the maritime history of Saint-Tropez. This tradition carries on the village’s attachment to its Provençal identity and its religious heritage.
The festivities begin with a gathering in front of the parish church, followed by a torchlight procession through the narrow streets of the old town. In an atmosphere marked by contemplation and camaraderie, residents and visitors are invited to join this luminous procession as it makes its way to the heart of the village. The evening continues at the parish church. Schedule for Monday, June 29: 9:00 p.m.: Gathering in front of the parish church 9:30 p.m.: Start of the torchlight procession through the old town 10:30 p.m.: Parish church, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
