Based on Robert David MacDonald’s *Conférence au sommet*. Is it possible to love a tyrant without losing one’s soul?

Behind the scenes of the Third Reich, Eva Braun and Clara Petacci—the mistresses of Hitler and Mussolini—meet for a private conversation. Amid unsettling confessions, bursts of laughter, and totalitarian rhetoric, the two women reveal their vulnerabilities as they discuss love, submission, and power. This cruelly funny and uncompromising play examines the figure of the accomplice in the shadow of the monster—the “banality of evil” as experienced by women. Straddling the line between tragedy and farce, the play plunges us into a lingering sense of unease. Should we laugh or shudder in the face of these willing silences?
