The 80th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from 11 to 22 May 2027. Film industry professionals, international stars and up-and-coming actors mingle with the crowd eager for images and surprising encounters. The Cannes Film Festival is the place to be for a fortnight, with its glitter, stars and rumours, as well as scandals and diplomatic affairs. Major events or small anecdotes sometimes take on disproportionate dimensions, and some facts have even built its legend. The Cannes Festival has been celebrating cinema for 80 years.
