SÉBASTIEN MAZOYER began piano studies at the CRD de Nîmes in Catherine Silie's class. A disciple of Denis Pascal, he continued his piano studies at the CRR de Rueil-Malmaison, then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in Michel Béroff's class. He also perfected his skills with Jacques Rouvier, Muza Rubackyté, Florent Boffard and Marie-Paule Milone.
At the same time, he began studying the accordion with Ruy Rodrigues, and performed with his accordion orchestra in a classical repertoire, as well as more traditional ones, in numerous concerts and balls throughout France.
He went on to win a unanimous 1°' prize at the CRD d'Aix-en-Provence in Jean-Marc Marroni's classical accordion class, as well as various distinctions in national and international competitions (1e prix Adolphe Deprince, 3rd prize in the Coupe d'Europe, two-time European Champion
twice with the Nîmes accordion orchestra, and World Cup winner).
PATRICE BARSEY: fter his studies at the Conservatoire National de Région de Marseille, where he won a Gold Medal in oboe, English horn and chamber music, he went on to perfect his skills with Alain Denis, principal English horn with the Orchestre de Paris. Since then, he has been a certified teacher at the Conservatoire à rayonnement départemental de Nimes.
YVONNE HAHN is a German musician and teacher living in France, recognized for her major contribution to the promotion of the bandoneon, an instrument of German origin that has become emblematic of Argentine tango. She studied
studied classical music at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin, where she won a chamber music competition in 1987. After the fall of the Wall, she moved to France to continue her studies at the Conservatoires d'Avignon and Marseille, where she won several major prizes in piano, chamber music and composition.
