The Toulon and Var instrumental ensemble is made up of accomplished professionals, amateurs and students from conservatories and music schools in the Var region, who benefit from the opportunity to perfect their skills as orchestral musicians.
RENÉ-PIERRE FAEDDA, conductor
After a comprehensive musical training at the Toulon Conservatory, then at the École Normale de Musique in Paris, and piano studies with André Millecam and Annie d'Arco, he taught piano in Briançon, then at the Conservatoire National de Région in Toulon, where he also worked as a conductor under Lucien Jean-Baptiste. At the CNRR de TPM, he is piano teacher, in charge of the 3rd cycle student orchestra and study advisor. He is also a composer (notably of choral pieces).
On the program: Mendelssohn's violin concerto in D minor, Weber's andante and rondo for viola, Bruch's romance for viola, Sibelius's romance for string orchestra and Vivaldi's flute concerto.
