Description
It is the traditional patronal festival of Saint-Etienne de Tinée with balls, entertainment for all, mass and procession, meal show, bowls competition, etc.
Friday, August 7:
9:00 a.m.: Book festival in the village square
9:30 p.m.: Kickoff of the patron saint’s festival, blessing of the bonfires, and lighting of the bell tower, accompanied by all the fife and drum bands from the region
10:00 p.m.: Grand opening ball featuring the BPM Orchestra
Saturday, August 8:
7:00 a.m.: Morning serenades throughout the area performed by “Li Sauta Riba” and “Lascours”
2:00 PM: Square-ball competition (mixed doubles, Church Square) organized by the Café de la Place
6:00 PM: Entertainment with the Baie des Anges orchestra
10:00 PM: Fireworks CANCELED
10:30 p.m.: Grand dance featuring the Baie des Anges orchestra
Sunday, August 9:
7:00 a.m.: Morning songs for the public performed by “Li Sauta Riba” and “Lascours”
9:00 a.m.: Anoge-Pasquier Challenge (boules tournament in mixed triplets, Place Sant Ment) organized by Lou Ben Manja (prizes: €500 + wagers + wine and charcuterie)
11:00 a.m.: High Mass sung by the Saint Étienne de Tinée choir, followed by a procession
12:00 p.m.: Ceremony at the war memorial, speeches by officials in the square, and an aperitif offered by the municipality
3:00 p.m.: Live music at Saint Maur Hospital, hosted by Audrey and her musicians
4:00 p.m.: Musette dance on the square, hosted by Audrey and her musicians
7:30 p.m.: Blind Test hosted by Ted Warren – Charcuterie and cheese platters & fast food available on site
10:00 PM: Grand dance hosted by the RockLine orchestra
Monday, August 10:
10:00 AM: Country-style day at the lake with inflatable attractions and activities
10:30 AM: Registration for children in costume at the lake
11:00 a.m.: Grand Parade of children in costumes at the lake
12:00 p.m.: Refreshments and on-site sales of our traditional pan bagnats & kids’ menu
2:00 p.m.: Games at the lake: Parent/child pairs
4:30 PM: Awards ceremony for the lake games
10:30 PM: Grand costume ball hosted by DJ Flo
Tuesday, August 11:
8:00 PM: Traditional dinner and show on the square
Brazilian show hosted by the group CIE SHOW BRASIL
