Description
From Jennifer Maria.
Jane, look into the possibility of some consolation very carefully.
Are we beings who can be comforted? The baby’s heart stopped beating. She then decides to set out in search of a breath of fresh air. Despite herself, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, from North Africa to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, all the way to Corsica. Along the way: encounters, songs, images, music, setbacks, and triumphs.
Part intimate narrative, part philosophical quest, this performance explores the nature of consolation: what connects us when everything is in flux, and how do we navigate this new emptiness?
It is a sensitive journey, a modern and radiant odyssey.
