Jane carefully explores the possibility of consolation. Are we beings who can be consoled? The baby’s heart had stopped. She then decides to set out in search of a breath of fresh air. In spite of herself, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, from North Africa to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, all the way to Corsica. Along the way: encounters, songs, images, music, setbacks, and triumphs. Part intimate narrative, part philosophical quest, this performance explores the nature of consolation: what connects us when everything is in flux, and how do we navigate this new emptiness? *Fragmentée* is a sensitive journey, a modern and radiant odyssey.
