A dialogue between painting and photography. It brings together images of windows and doors from sacred architecture in France, Ethiopia, Turkey, Armenia, Byzantine Greece, as well as Portugal and Spain. The pictorial background serves both as a backdrop and as a foil for the photography, integrated into an overall composition in which the two mediums respond to one another.
