French Olympic Sailing Week (SOF) in Hyères harbor

For more than 50 years, the elite of Olympic sailing have been gathering in Hyères at the end of April. In April 2027, the 58th edition of La SOF will be a major multi-class event for the top Olympic sailors from the Sailing Grand Slam (SGS). All 10 Olympic classes will be competing: ILCA (men’s and women’s single-handed dinghies), 49er (men’s and women’s double-handed dinghies), Nacra 17 (mixed double-handed catamaran), 470 (mixed double-handed dinghy), Formula Kite (men’s and women’s kitefoil), and iQFOiL (men’s and women’s windfoil). The goal of the Sailing Grand Slam (SGS) is to create an international series based on events that are already well-established on the Olympic sailing circuit. It combines four events in Europe, one of which will take place on the same waters where the Olympic sailing regatta for the 2028 Los Angeles Games will be held.
