Description
This large Maginot structure is part of the defensive system of the Vésubie valley.
The Gordolon fort, on the right bank of the valley opposite the Flaut work at the foot of the Turini, was built to stop any Italian intrusion from the north. Since 2021, the association "Les Amis du fort de Gordolon" (Friends of the Gordolon fort) has been working hard to restore the fort. Meet them and find out more about the project.
