The experience
The outing starts at the Port du Niel, in Giens, with a sailing trip aboard a comfortable and safe catamaran. Accompanied by qualified guides, you sail between the Giens peninsula and the island of Porquerolles.
Two swimming stops of around an hour are planned in coves, allowing you to relax, paddle or snorkel and observe the marine flora and fauna. The crew, experts in marine biology, share their knowledge throughout the outing, in a friendly, family atmosphere.
Practical information
- What to bring : Swimsuit and towel, warm clothing (jacket, sweatshirt or windbreaker), sun protection (sunglasses, hat, environmentally-friendly sun cream), water, personal flotation device for children (e.g. armbands), food and drink (alcohol prohibited).
- Footwear: barefoot outing, sailing or beach shoes permitted if soles are clean and white.
- Pets: not allowed
- Accessibility: no PRM access

- Access / transport :
o Access by car severely limited in high season (July 15 - August 15)
o Recommended access on foot or by bike from Giens village center (approx. 10 minutes)
- Parking: free Giens parking lot, 227 impasse Lou Biou (near the cemetery)
- Bus: routes 67 and 68 (route 68 serves Port du Niel)

The service provider is committed to the Esprit Parc label. Sailing is favored, and outings are made in small groups and include stops in wild creeks. The crew teaches participants about the coastline, the marine environment and biodiversity, with commentary provided by a biologist.
