A pumpkin to carve, a treat to make… Serre de la Madone invites young and old alike to let their imaginations run wild.

Pumpkins or butternut squashes will be carved into smiling faces, funny characters, or other designs. Everyone will have the chance to bring their ideas to life before moving on to the second part of the workshop: making a homemade spread using the pumpkin flesh. This event combines creativity and a love of good food, while teaching participants how to make the most of ingredients rather than waste them. Activity offered every day the garden is open, from August through the end of September—Garden hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Mondays Start at your convenience from the garden’s visitor center · Investigation materials provided on site—Activity to be completed independently under the mandatory supervision of an adult. This activity is included at no extra charge as part of a self-guided tour. Capacity: 6 pairs per session, for a total of 12 participants.
Audience: adults and children ages 10 and up.
Admission to the garden, which is €15 per adult-child pair, is to be paid on site on the day of the workshop.
