Operated by the City of Cannes and the CCAS, this certified ‘Tourism and Disability’ and ‘Handicap 4 Bouées’ facility dedicated to people with disabilities is located at Bijou Beach, on the Pointe Croisette side.
Handiplage is open to enable people with reduced mobility and disabilities to enjoy the pleasures of the sea and to swim in complete safety.
The CCAS of Cannes offers to people holding a Mobility Inclusion Card with the mention "INVALIDITY" and/or a recognition of disability greater than or equal to 80% issued by the CADPH (proofs to be provided) to enjoy the pleasures of the sea and to swim in complete safety with the provision of efficient equipment and adapted supervision.
A beach with the Handiplage (4 buoys) and Tourisme & Handicap (4 disabilities) labels, accessible and supervised.
Car parks, changing rooms, adapted toilets, accessible shower.
Adapted equipment: seahorse, tiralos, swimming equipment (buoys, life jackets, floating hammocks, support fries, etc.)

The site is open to the public free of charge every day, including Sundays and public holidays (except in bad weather), from 10am to 6pm in June and September and from 9am to 7pm in July and August.
In July and August, the site can accommodate 90 people at a time (excluding accompanying adults) (60 people in September). To use the service, you must be registered with Handiplage, either via the CCAS website https://www.ccas-cannes.fr/, by scanning the QR code (see appendix), or by contacting us via email at handiplage@ccas-cannes.fr. Once registered, users can book directly on the CCAS website or through the usual channels.
Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance (up to a maximum of 15 days in advance) and the registration form is now available to download. Each user is entitled to a maximum of four half-days per week and may be accompanied by up to three people. Additional half-days may be granted subject to availability.
At the same time, sporting activities are on offer, such as trimaran trips from 2 July to 31 August every Tuesday and Thursday with four slots throughout the day (9.30 am, 11 am, 1.30 pm and 3 pm), an introduction to sailing, and a sea trip aboard adapted trimarans. There will also be an introduction to paddleboarding available from 2 July to 31 August every Monday and Friday from 9am to 6pm. Handiplage and Cannes Town Hall are offering
