Who is Saint Eurosia? Tradition says that Eurosia was a Bohemian princess who came to Spain to marry a Visigoth prince. According to other versions, she was born in Bayonne. Discovered by Islamic troops, their leader proposed marriage to her, but she refused, unwilling to abandon her faith in Christ, and was martyred. She was beheaded. Miraculous springs gush forth where her head fell.
Because of her martyrdom, Saint Eurosia is renowned for curing ailments related to the head, including madness and mental illness.
