Description
This sunny hike on the Arraïs plateau takes in some magnificent barns, each housing up to 15 cattle.
From the village of Isola, drive to marker 52, near the Lac des Neiges campsite. Take the path that gradually rises up the steep slope of Champ de la Coue and soon passes an oratory.
The path then skirts the lower edge of the old cultivation beds.
This is the high point of the circuit (1,361m - b.51). Continue towards the ArraÏs district along an almost level path (b.56).
Begin the descent along the path overlooking the Rairola state forest. At the crossroads (b.55), turn left, then immediately right, and follow the path as it winds its way down to the hamlet of La Blache.
Reach the valley of the same name, cross it (footbridge) and reach the hamlet square (b.120).
Reach marker 119 for the vehicle shuttle.
