Sistron is THE viewpoint of Isola 2000. It's from here, winter and summer alike, that you can see the sea and the first peaks of the Northern Alps!

From the Front de Neige, cross the Vallon de Chastillon (b80) by the Chapland bridge, then fork right up the slope towards the Chemin des Italiens. Pass under the Mercantour gondola (b82) and through the military tunnel to the Merlier chairlift (b83). From beacon 83, head towards Sistron via Collet de Sistron (b84). From the Collet, turn left towards the summit. Once you've reached the Sistron summit, head towards Mont Saint-Sauveur for the return to the resort (without going up). From marker 89, descend to Col de la Valette (b88), then take a track to reach the start.
