Intangible Cultural Heritage Evening

- 7:00 p.m. Play: "Qui sotto / Ici-bas" Qui Sotto - Ici-bas (A Social Fable), I Senzatesta Theater Company Based on the historical event of the Bergemoletto avalanche (late 18th century), we recount the adventures of a small group consisting of two humans, three hens, a rooster, a donkey, and a goat, who find themselves trapped in a small barn buried by an avalanche. Organizing themselves, putting up with one another, and living together become a matter of life and death, leading our protagonists to reinvent a social model. With *Ici-bas*, we serve as a vehicle for ancient and contemporary stories and assert an original narrative perspective—specific to an Alpine community that draws on the past but still has a voice because it exists, thinks, writes, and performs—for the rest of the mountain community as well as for other regions. On stage, we revive the tradition of vaudeville theater by performing in a small space and in a comic-grotesque style that nonetheless leaves room for each character’s flaws and for poetry. *Ici-bas* was created with the amateur theater troupe I Senzatesta as a continuation of Labò Teatro di Moiola and directed by Elena Bosco. - 8:00 p.m. buffet - 8:30 p.m. introduction to traditional dances - 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. balèti with the group Escapado Escapado is a traditional music ensemble that is part of the Tradest (Tradition Estérel) association. Since 1996, it has participated in festivals, street performances, and traditional dances. Escapado embodies Occitan tradition, with musicians who actively engage with their audience. Ten musicians from the Var and Alpes-Maritimes regions bring together galoubets, tambourines, transverse flutes, accordions, bagpipes, hurdy-gurdies, electric guitars, drums, and vocals. A surprising, explosive blend with a rhythm of contagious vitality—an invitation to dance—drawn from the most diverse influences of Occitania, from Provence to Italy, with a detour to the Celtic shores. The event will be moved to the Espace Albert-Raphaël in case of inclement weather
