European Heritage Days: "Heritage in Danger" on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
Saturday, September 19:
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. “Lou Moulin dei Pugets en Festa”
As part of Heritage Days, the City of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, in partnership with the Committee for the
Preservation of the Old Village and the Collectif de Défense du Moulin des Pugets, invite you to a
delicious and convivial gathering in the gardens of the Old Mill, featuring the flavors of our region.
On the menu: pissaladière, pan bagnat, Swiss chard pie, and other local specialties.
The evening will feature:
• Stories from three storytellers who will bring the history of the mill to life, blending Provençal and Nice traditions:
Patricia Funghini Bassat, a specialist in regional languages; Patrick Vaillant, conductor of the Nice
Libération Orchestra; and Jean-Luc Potherat, a passionate historian;
• Musical entertainment by the Nice Libération Orchestra brass band.
Admission: €10 (drinks not included; you’ll receive a free reusable glass featuring the Mill’s logo)
Registration required through the Comité de Sauvegarde du Vieux Village at 04 93 31 01 35 starting
August 15.
To get to the Moulin, free shuttle buses will be available departing from the CCAS Foyer
on Avenue du 11 Novembre; reservations required at 04 92 12 40 64 (limited seating).

chamber) – Registration required (duration: 1 hour 30 minutes)
9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Tour of the Natura 2000 Area organized by the Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux 06

2:30–3:30 p.m. “The Last Gueyeur” An interactive theatrical walk along the banks of the Var.
Led by an actor, you are invited—on a voluntary basis—to take on the roles of various characters...
A fun and original way to discover the history of the gueyeurs!
Walk written and conceived by Céline Barcaroli, coordinated by 123CAT, and performed by Robin Delval.
For all ages, duration: 1 hour—Meet on the steps of City Hall at 2:15 p.m.
