The music of the Jo Kaiat Quartet is jazz inspired by the artist's life experiences and her transcontinental travels.
This pianist, a citizen of the world whose musical passions know no borders, presents us with a travelogue full of finesse, elegance, and restraint. This year, the spotlight is on Korea. The group consists of Jo Kaiat on piano, Juan Villarroel on double bass, Karim Ziad on drums, Fernanda Santana on vocals, and, as a special guest, the great Cuban saxophonist IRVING ACAO.
