Raimu-Pagnol: A Lasting Friendship. A tribute to the close personal and professional bond between Marcel Pagnol and Jules Raimu.

This is the story that Jean Destin’s character will tell us, through the correspondence between Marcel Pagnol and Jules Raimu. Thanks to their personal writings, we’ll relive with them the behind-the-scenes story of a friendship that wrote some of the most beautiful chapters in 20th-century theater and cinema. With imaginative, contemporary, and fast-paced staging, we’ll visit all the places where their lives unfolded: on stage, of course, but especially in dressing rooms, offices, restaurants, bars, and on the street. In one and a half hours, the production evokes an intimate and professional bond, bringing to life all those moments—as intense as they were discreet—that, thanks to their correspondence, have reached us in their own words, their genuine expressions, their authentic outbursts, and their declarations of love and respect—as sincere as they are timeless.
