La cité céleste

As their journey unfolds, they discover the beauty of the landscapes, as well as new cultures and traditions. Aboard their strange hot-air balloon ship captained by the mysterious “Mister Tiki,” they’ll stop in Greece to visit the Acropolis in Athens and discover the wisdom of Homer; in England to explore the streets of London and the sounds of Shakespeare’s language; in China to see the Great Wall and meet the mythical Dragon; in India to admire the beauty of the Taj Mahal and learn about Gandhi’s philosophy, in New York—“the city that never sleeps”—to discover Broadway; they’ll fly over sandy deserts and vast glaciers, and meet amazing characters along the way. Each stage of the journey becomes an invitation to imagination, curiosity, friendship, and respect for differences. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a variety of activities—magic shows, face painting, balloon sculpting—and creative workshops will extend this musical afternoon. A snack will also be provided for the children.
