Description

To bring this summer season to a gentle close, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin invites you to a new edition of La Note Verte. This eco-friendly festival, set amidst nature, invites you to experience music in a whole new way, in the heart of unique coastal locations.
This initiative, combining hikes and concerts, offers an experience accessible to all—timeless and off the beaten path. An enchanting escape where nature and music come together to create unique moments to be shared by hikers and music lovers alike. Concerts presented by the City, the Tourist Office, and GreenMusic Tribute to the Giants of Jazz Friday, September 4 – Pointe du Cap-Martin – 9:00 p.m. – Free admission Pat Bianchi, a native of New York, is considered one of the world’s leading jazz organists. His playing on the Hammond B3 organ stands out for its creativity and rhythmic intensity. This quartet features Stephane Belmondo on trumpet, saxophonist Tony Lakatos, and drummer Bernd Reiter. Together, these renowned musicians deliver energetic, swinging, and groovy music. Jazz and DJ Saturday, September 5 – Golfe Bleu Beach – 5:30 p.m. – Free admission Saxophonist and composer Gianni Denitto and producer FILOQ are collaborating on a project at the intersection of jazz, electronic music, and Moroccan musical traditions. FILOQ works with a collection of vinyl records discovered in Tangier, from which he extracts vocals, percussion, and instruments while preserving the noise and wear of the grooves. Denitto then transforms these fragments using the saxophone, electronics, and self-sampling. The result is a live performance where Moroccan sonic heritage and electronic production converge, transforming the past into a living, contemporary art form. All That Jazz for the Sunrise Jazz Sunday, September 6 – Jean-Gioan Esplanade Pedestrian Promenade – 7:00 a.m. – Free admission The timeless essence of jazz with saxophonist Jean-Christophe Lombardo and pianist Mickaël Berthelemy. Jazz standards, Brazilian music, ballads, bebop, French chanson, and New Orleans jazz take center stage. An artistic exploration inspired by legends such as John Coltrane, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Miles Davis. Full program: https://www.roquebrune-cap-martin.fr/22464-eco-festival.htm
