The Le Sixièmétage Company invites dancer-choreographer Kana Kitty, the most iconic performer of Japan’s new dance scene, to present this new, eclectic choreographic creation that blends contemporary dance and Butoh.

A reflection on the figure of the warrior. Why do men fight? Why this fascination with war? Who are these warriors in grotesque or sublime armor who haunt our imagination? Here is a scene after the battle. Here are hand-to-hand combat scenes, wounds, tears, and warrior embraces; here are bodies hampered by their armor and finery. A powerful work with a striking aesthetic, a tragic farce filled with conflicting emotions, a poetics of catastrophe that echoes the madness and upheaval of our world.
