Description
As soon as it was published, Charles Perrault’s *Puss in Boots* was an instant success and remains a very popular tale to this day.
“The eldest son got the mill, the second son got the donkey, and the youngest son got nothing but the cat. ” This inheritance, modest in appearance, would nevertheless change the course of the young man’s life. This odd cat, quite talkative and equipped with boots and a bag, became his precious ally, helping him gain self-confidence and find love.
The three artists of the Compagnie Intervalles—who take turns as actress, singer, harpsichordist, and cellist—present a subtle adaptation of this tale. The baroque touch invites the audience into a magical and wondrous world where anything can be transformed.
*Puss in Boots* is benefiting from a creative residency at the TFG/Pôle Nice Théâtre et Vivants this season.
