Four films selected from a rich filmography for the fifth edition of “La Renaissance fait son cinéma,” renamed “Le Star fait son cinéma” due to renovations at the Renaissance. With the support of the Cinéma-In association of Ramatuelle, represented by Jaqueline Franjou, and in collaboration with Studio Canal, the city of Saint-Tropez is organizing the fifth edition of the festival—renamed “Le Star fait son cinéma” in tribute to Lino Ventura—from November 2 to 5. Every evening at 8 p.m. at the Cinéma Star, the festival will feature four free screenings of Lino Ventura’s greatest roles, in the presence of his grandson Christophe Lasserre-Ventura, who is now president of the Perce-neige Foundation—an organization founded on Lino Ventura’s initiative that has been supporting people with disabilities for 60 years. *Le Fauve est lâché* (1959), a film by Maurice Labro starring Paul Frankeur and Estella Blain.
