A commedia dell'arte show for all ages, combining theater, singing, dancing, and pantomime.

In the Spain of days gone by, Isabella was kidnapped by the sorcerer Athalas and imprisoned in the Underworld for daring to reject his advances. Captain Rodomonte, madly in love with her, is in despair. But in a dramatic turn of events, he encounters a strange individual: Tabarin, a baker’s son, who claims to know the way to Pluto’s realm. The two companions in misfortune then embark on a frantic quest to rescue Isabella. During their journey, they’ll encounter fantastical beings that will amaze young and old alike. Is Isabella a prisoner in Pluto’s kingdom? Never mind! While waiting for her rescuers, she wreaks monumental havoc in the Underworld, in a series of hilarious interludes that will culminate in the ousting of Pluto himself! In a whirlwind of plot twists, songs, dances, pantomimes, fights, and endless comic antics, the Barakin Teatro brings this commedia dell’arte performance to life with great verve.
