As the sun sets over the village hills, the Barbary Amphitheater returns to its natural setting to host the Nuits de la Villa, inviting you to enjoy six free evenings of live entertainment.
In this exceptional setting, at the heart of Carros’ cultural heritage, this year’s festival will take audiences on a journey through various artistic worlds: flamenco, salsa, classical music, reggae, progressive rock, and theater. An eclectic lineup designed to offer everyone moments of emotion and discovery.
The opening night, on Friday, July 17, will set the tone with “Bandoleras” by Kaena Colora. This powerful flamenco show blends music, dance, and storytelling to retrace Spanish history through the voices of free and rebellious women. The evening will begin with Janis and the Slybarts as the opening act.
On Saturday, July 18, it’s time for Latin rhythms with CubaNissando. The Nice-based collective will present a lively evening with a Cuban flair, featuring salsa, cha-cha, mambo, and Latin jazz.
On Friday, July 24, pianists Frédéric Chauvel and Mark Solé-Leris will present “Legends and Mysteries,” a musical journey through great composers, fantastical tales, and imaginary landscapes.
On Saturday, July 25, Happy Roots will pay tribute to Bob Marley and the legacy of reggae with a concert featuring ten musicians, filled with energy, camaraderie, and positive vibes.
On Friday, July 31, the band Pulse will offer an immersion into the world of Pink Floyd with a progressive rock tribute blending musical power and stage presence.
Finally, on Saturday, August 1, the Rhum et les Feuilles d’Or troupe will close out this year’s festival with “La folle journée de Maître Labrige,” a burlesque comedy inspired by the works of Feydeau and Courteline.
