Its various states—solid, liquid, foam, effervescence, drips, and stalactite-like formations—fascinate her as a means of expressing new forms, which she either freezes in place or allows to evolve, thereby transforming time into a medium. Soap, being highly hydrophilic, lends itself perfectly to all the changes the artist intends. Their practices range freely across drawing, photography, sculpture, objects, and video, with a shared taste for images, reinterpretations, and unexpected associations. Exhibition “Sempre di nuovo” by Valentine Trassy and David Dalla Venezia Two generations of painters united by a shared relationship to the history of painting: its classical forms, its images, and their reappearances in contemporary art. Here, the classical is neither a model nor a fixed legacy, but a repertoire that anyone can reinterpret, transform, and reinvent. Polyphonie du geste” featuring Magali Latil, Sylvia Leone, Anne-Sophie Viallon, and Eglé Vismanté This exhibition brings together four artists who live and work along the Côte d’Azur, invited to occupy the space at La Gaya Scienza with no instructions other than to present what moves them. Painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, sewing: four distinct practices, all driven by a shared commitment to slowness and attention to materials. Four approaches, four materials, one common goal: taking the time to observe what, beneath the surface of things, is striving to be expressed.
