Description

On the program:
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm MAISON ABANDONNÉE [VILLA CAMELINE], NICE
EXTRAORDINARY exhibition by Benjamin Bichard
Benjamin Bichard chooses to use commonplace, everyday objects to create new forms through accumulation, assembly, twisting and cutting. His "modular" objects reveal the aesthetic power of these invisible actors in our daily lives. In the artist's mind, there is a multitude of objects forgotten by the world, which he tries to keep track of.
Visit by Hélène Fincker, director of the Maison Abandonnée, and artist Benjamin Bichard.
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm GALERIE EVA VAUTIER, NICE
Exhibition STRIKE THE SET by Florian Pugnaire
The exhibition is built around Catanae, the latest film produced by the artist in 2025 with the Centre Wallonie Bruxelles (Paris) and Botanique (Brussels). The Catenae project is concerned with the traces and artifacts resulting from an artistic process, and with the question of their conservation and resistance to the passage of time. The notion of exhibition is both the starting point and the final goal of the project, in a reflection on the manufacture of ruins, where the act of creation and the act of destruction merge.
Visit by Eva Vautier, director of the Eva Vautier gallery
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm GAYA SCIENZA, NICE
