Indian music concert featuring Abhay Rustum Sopori and Nihar Mehta.

Coming from a prestigious lineage of Kashmiri musicians, Abhay Rustum Sopori is the heir to more than three centuries of santur tradition and the Sufiana Gharana. Recognized as an “outstanding artist” by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), he carries on the legacy of his father, the maestro Bhajan Sopori, while pursuing a brilliant international career. Blending Indian classical music, Sufi music, and the folk traditions of Kashmir, Abhay Rustum Sopori has performed at numerous festivals around the world. He will be accompanied on the tabla by Nihar Mehta, a renowned artist who has been based in France since 2003.
