Lola Young is a British singer-songwriter from South London, whose singular voice and raw songwriting blend contemporary soul, alternative pop and R&B influences.
Trained at the prestigious BRIT School, she quickly established herself as one of the most promising new talents on the British scene. Her debut album, My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely, confirms her sensitive, introspective universe, and her nomination for the Brit Award Rising Star in 2021, followed by a place in the BBC Sound of 2022.
Her second album, This Wasn't Meant for You Anyway, took her international career to new heights, with tracks such as Messy and Conceited gaining widespread recognition on social networks. Buoyed by this success, she won her very first Grammy Award in the Best Pop Solo Performance category for Messy on February 1, 2026. A few weeks later, she also triumphed at the Brit Awards, winning Revelation of the Year.
