Description
International Traditional Boat Festival, with Ireland as the guest of honor.
On September 17, come admire the lateen sails and traditional boats.
Meet enthusiasts dedicated to preserving our maritime heritage!
From September 15 to 20, a gathering of 80 traditional boats will take place in the harbor of Villefranche-sur-Mer, co-organized by the Yole Laïssa Ana and the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council.
The town of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat will participate by welcoming the first flotilla of exceptional boats on Thursday, September 17. The public will be able to come and admire these relics of the past, which have been maintained and restored by enthusiasts, from the shores of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Starting at 4:00 p.m., some boats will be anchored off Cros deï Pin Beach, while others—larger vessels—will be moored at the port of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (depending on weather and sea conditions).
