Description
The Arts Season opens at the Château de la Cheylane for its first edition with an exhibition entitled “Méditerranée Bleue et Fauve” by the artists Marie-Rose Chergeau and Sébastien Arcouet.
The Château de La Cheylane is opening its doors for the first edition of a contemporary art exhibition showcasing eight artists. This artistic season is organised by *Les Cahiers de Provence Méditerranée*.
For this exhibition, “Méditerranée Bleue et Fauve”, 40 captivating, previously unseen works will be on display in the exhibition hall, which covers nearly 200m², including a monumental work created by these two artists inspired by the island of Porquerolles, with the exhibition design conceived and created by Nadège Moha.
The artist Marie-Rose Clergeau uses oil painting to create her sun-drenched works, drawing inspiration in particular from the great masters such as Cézanne. She studied under Thierry Lefort and Sébastien Arcouet.
The painter Sébastien Arcouet, for his part, draws inspiration from the sea and the shifting light of the Mediterranean, using various shades of ‘blue’ that have become his signature.
The opening will take place on 23 July from 6.00 pm, with the artists in attendance.
This exhibition is open by private appointment only.
