Description
The exhibition is inspired by the Renaissance wonder chambers, where scholars, collectors and aristocrats gathered rare, astonishing or precious objects to better understand the world.
Naturalia (derived from nature) and artificialia (human creations resulting from technical prowess) interact here in an immersive scenography, between science, history, art and fascination for the unknown.
Through this red thread, the exhibition resonates with the original vocation of the cabinet of curiosities and that of the Palais Lascaris, conceived from the outset as a palace of display, intended to assert the power, wealth and prestige of the Lascaris family.
A captivating journey, between wonder and knowledge, that reveals the Palais as a place of representation, collection and staging of the world.
