Discover in a space of 400m2, the life and work of one of the most famous comedians in the world: his intimacy, his career, his friends, his rewards !
Exhibition Itinerary:
More than 350 items are on display: personal photographs, behind-the-scenes shots, and film stills; drawings—notably by Louis de Funès; letters, such as those from Jean Anouilh; as well as film clips, some of which are previously unseen. You’ll discover Gérard Oury and Louis de Funès in 1949’s *Du Guesclin!* and other clips from iconic films: *La Grande Vadrouille*, *Le Corniaud*, *La Folie des Grandeurs*, *Le Grand Restaurant*, *L’Aile ou la Cuisse*… shown on vintage televisions as well as on the big screen, so you can
relive the famous dance sequences from *The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob*, *Le Grand Restaurant*, and *L’Homme orchestre*.
Louis de Funès is also present thanks to telephones scattered throughout the space. You’ll hear his voice recounting anecdotes, stories, and confessions about his life and work. Visitors will then be immersed in this temple dedicated to the actor, where they can reenact a few scenes and rediscover the gags from certain films.
Children’s Tour:
Throughout the tour, children can enjoy games inspired by the actor’s films, based on drawings by Stephan Zimmerli—an artist, architect, set designer, and musician, as well as a founding member and artistic director of the band Moriarty.
Combined ticket with the Museum of History, Prehistory, and Underwater Archaeology: €8
