This winter, Sonia welcomes you to the “Authion” building in the hamlet of La Minière in Vallauria. Located at the gateway to the Mercantour National Park and the Vallée des Merveilles, the mountain hut awaits you!

Neige et Merveilles is located in the hamlet of La Minière de Vallauria, a former mining village first mentioned in the 11th century. The buildings are clustered around the Inferno stream. The hamlet is just a stone’s throw from the famous Vallée des Merveilles and the heart of the Mercantour National Park. Just 12 km from the nearest village, Tende, it nestles in a setting of larch trees, amid a rugged, rocky landscape, blanketed in white snow where a profound silence settles in, making way for the winter mountain wildlife.
