Description
On Saturday 30 May, as part of the "Clean Up the South" campaign, meet in front of the Harbour Master's Office at Port Miramar at 9am.
For the fourth year running, the town of La Londe les Maures, in partnership with MPM and the Région Sud, is inviting young and old alike to take part in the "Clean Up the South" operation, now a not-to-be-missed environmental event.
Organised with the support of a number of local associations, including the PEEP and the LAM, this morning's clean-up operation brings together young people, families and senior citizens with a common goal: to restore the beaches of Miramar, Argentière and Tamaris in the South of France to their former glory.
Meet at 9am in front of the Pôle Nautique, on the Miramar port, to set off on the various clean-up routes at 9.30am.
Last year, this operation collected over 85 tonnes of rubbish from more than 400 sites throughout the region. Once again this year, let's rise to the challenge together to protect our coastline and preserve our living environment.
A simple gesture, for a lasting impact. Come one, come all!
Free parking on site.
