The department's first maritime park, this 353-hectare site, allocated to the Conservatoire du Littoral and located in the commune of Théoule sur Mer, ensures the continuity of the Estérel and Pointe de l'Aiguille departmental nature parks at sea.
It is co-managed by the Cannes Lérins Agglomeration and the commune of Théoule-sur-Mer, in conjunction with the French government and the Cannes fishing association.

These partners are working together to ensure the balanced and sustainable development of socio-economic activities and to promote public access and awareness of the marine environment.
and raise awareness of the marine environment, while guaranteeing the conservation and preservation of habitats and biodiversity.

Discover the shallows...
The Pointe de l'Aiguille underwater trail, created in 2006 by the Alpes-Maritimes department in partnership with the commune of Théoule-sur-Mer, is open to all from mid-June to mid-September.

You can observe the fauna and flora of the shallow waters on your own, thanks to submersible educational brochures available from the Tourist Office, or as part of a guided aquatic walk after registering on the Département's animation nature website.

Responsible practices
BOATERS
- prefer to anchor in sandy areas and raise the anchor level with the boat without horizontal tension: to help you, download the free "DONIA" application (www.donia.fr) onto your smartphone to view the nature of the seabed in real time.
- respect the work of professional fishermen. Sail away from fishing gear marked with specific colored beacons, and from boats in fishing condition.

RECREATIONAL FISHING
- respect minimum catch sizes and quantities.
- sea urchin fishing is prohibited from april 16 to october 31.
- underwater fishing is prohibited along the entire Alpes-Maritimes coastline from November 1 to March 1 of each year, except on Saturdays and Sundays.

For further information, visit the Direction Interrégionale de la Mer Méditerranée website
(www. dirm.mediterranee. developpement-durable.gouv.fr)

PRESERVE THE ENVIRONMENT
- don't throw your garbage into the sea. Sort your waste and, once ashore
on land, dispose of it in the garbage cans provided.
