Located west of Nice, Phoenix Park is a magnificent seven-hectare park where families love to gather to discover many rare species of animals and plants that amaze both children and their parents.
It showcases habitats representative of Mediterranean flora. Throughout the year, a variety of activities are offered:
• 7 hectares of greenery in the heart of the city, home to 2,500 plant species.
• A lake, where about a hundred birds—including ducks and black swans—live peacefully, reflects the white marble facades of the Museum of Asian Arts, designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tangé.
• One of Europe’s largest greenhouses, “Le Diamant Vert,” takes visitors on a journey through six different tropical climates. There, they’ll discover several thousand rare plant species, such as tree ferns, a collection of orchids… and many other plants.
• Other areas are home to crocodiles, exotic birds, and iguanas. A family of Varis lemurs delights visitors.
• A tree-top adventure park (separate fee applies) will delight young and old alike.
Highlights: a lush, unique, and extraordinary setting; easy access from the A8 highway, across from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport; the option to reserve the park exclusively for one or more days (access strictly limited to the organizer and their guests); and numerous hotels in the surrounding area.
