Pas plus haut que trois pommes

For its second production (2021), the company chose to tackle the sensitive topics of bullying, difference, and encountering others. It’s the story of a little guy no taller than three apples, who leaves home because he’s different and, at the invitation of a storyteller, decides to set off on a trip around the world. During his journey, he meets animals and characters—all very different—who share their own stories. In this way, he comes to understand the importance of diversity and the value of his own uniqueness, and returns enriched by this journey. Ah le Zèbre!, a theater company based in Nice, shares not only its experience but also its emotions, perspectives, and questions. Among its missions, the company raises awareness among young children about major societal issues, works toward an environment free of discrimination and prejudice, fosters openness to a diverse cultural and artistic world, and celebrates uniqueness and individuality.
