Description
He fled his country. He tells us about his terrible journey. He made it all the way. But here, the coveted promised land, the land of happiness as they say, is revealed in its true light, that of moral and material misery.
You have to work. You have to send money home, whatever it takes, even if your family gradually forgets you. He was from over there, he came here, and he'll never be able to leave.
