"Petite Plume," a poetic performance for all ages currently in development, is a fusion of puppetry and visual theater.

*Petite Plume*, a poetic performance for all ages currently in development, is a fusion of puppetry and visual theater. This original work will tell the story of Petite Plume’s childhood—a young girl from North American Indigenous communities—and her relationship with her grandparents. In this project, I have chosen to explore various personal and artistic themes that I wish to share with the audience, such as intergenerational relationships, our connection to nature, the culture of North American Indigenous peoples, and confronting racism. The research will take place in three phases: writing, set design, and direction. The first phase, dedicated to writing and visual design, creating a project model, and constructing the puppets, will be carried out as part of a mentorship program with the Théâtre de la Massue company. Next, a collaboration with the Nyima company—and in particular with performer and puppeteer Marjory Gesbert—will begin to work on the staging.
