Description
Nina Simone Reincarnated: The outstanding actress and singer Ludmilla Dabo portrays the soul diva, whose life echoes her own.
Through the story of a passionate artist, Nina Simone is reborn in the form of Ludmilla Dabo: a magnificent tribute, where the performer and her subject merge in a shared commitment. On stage, accompanied by David Lescot’s guitar and seamless interplay, Ludmilla Dabo sings—magnificently—the songs of Simone and recounts, in the first person, the struggles of Nina, a fervent activist in the civil rights movement in 1950s America.
